We arrived in the quiet hours of the early morning to capture stunning, crowd-free cinematic footage, and the experience was magical. Standing before the 16 massive pillars, each soaring over 35 meters (115 feet) high, is truly an awe-inspiring experience. We spent our time exploring the intricate carvings that cover every surface, which tell Georgia's story in two distinct stages. The lower parts depict the life of Jesus Christ, representing the deep roots of Georgian faith, while the upper parts celebrate the powerful kings, queens, and heroes who shaped the nation's history.
