God will not ask you to do something that He will not empower you to accomplish.
The great commission was given to the church with a power promise. Jesus said to
His disciples; “Stay in Jerusalem until you have been clothed with power from on
high” (Luke 24:49). He said to them, “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit
comes upon you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and to
the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8). This promise was fulfilled at Pentecost. (Acts 2:4)
