Описание к видео Flipbooks - How to Embed HTML5 Animations Within Digital Publications

In this video tutorial we will show you how to embed HTML5 Animation within a page of your publication. We will be working with the Interactive Panel in the Design Tab in the 3D Issue Software.
Select the page you want to work with.
This Embed Animation feature allows you to define the exact area on the page where you would like the animation to play.
Use your browser to locate the animation file of choice. In this field you may select the location of the folder containing the animation files OR simply enter the url of the web page containing the HTML 5 animation files.
With this feature you have the added option of placing a poster file on the page which will act as a graphic cover on the animation pane whilst it is inactive on the page.
The system will copy that media folder across to the digital publication. We will insert both the local media folder and also a link to a web based html5 animation for the purpose of this video tutorial.
For further information on the Advanced settings, for Rollover and Size & Position for this feature please refer to the Go To Page video tutorial.
All media objects now have Advanced Settings also. You can learn more about these in the video tutorial on how to Insert Flash Animation.
Let's now review some of the changes we have applied. Let's first review the animation we copied across to our publication. Lastly, let's view the animation which was linked from a website. Note the poster files we used in both examples whilst the animations are inactive.
In the HTML5 version of the finished 3D Issue publication, the embedded animation will appear as part of the page - the user defines the width, height, x and y co-ordinates. The buttons and hotspots will open a pop-up panel. The user defines the width and height, but in this instance the program will always automatically center the panel in the middle of the screen.
In the Flash version of the finished 3D Issue publication, the embedded animation will also appear as part of the page, but when the user clicks on it, it behaves like a button or hotspot and opens a popup panel. The reason for the different behaviour between the Flash and Html5 versions is down to restrictions with iFrames in Flash.
That concludes this module on embedding HTML5 Animation within a page of your Publication. Thank you for joining us.
