Yura Yunita, born on June 9, 1991, in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia, is a prominent Indonesian singer and songwriter of Sundanese heritage. She rose to fame with her hit “Cinta Dan Rahasia” and followed it up with another successful single titled “Berawal Dari Tatap,” which she wrote herself. In 2015, she performed at the Jakarta International Java Jazz Festival and received three nominations at the Indonesia Choice Awards. Yura Yunita released her second album, “Merakit,” on September 21, 2018, and shortly after, she won her third Anugerah Musik Indonesia (AMI) Award for Best Pop Female Solo Artist with her single “Harus Bahagia.”
