Edithvale Wetlands - Birds Video - XXXI

Edithvale Wetlands has many birds around the place, these birds I have taken videos are from around the outer bird hide to the bird hide within the wetlands, a marvelous place to photograph and enjoy the wildlife.

This is short videos taken at Edithvale Wetlands with the Australian Spotted crake - Porzana tabuensis, Blue-billed Duck - Oxyura australis, Dusky Moorhen - Gallinula tenebrosa, Masked Lapwing - Vanellus miles, Pacific Black Duck - Anas superciliosa, Pied Stilt - Himantopus leucocephalus, and Red-kneed dotterel - Erythrogonys cinctus, on show, this is and an amazing place to visit.

The Edithvale wetlands bird hide is open between the hours of 1pm – 5pm Saturday & Sunday entry is free, just sign in a book to record your visit and maybe a gold coin donation, the only provision is that there needs to be water, as this wetland is ephemeral at times there is no water and without water the bird life is very scarce, then the bird hide will be closed.
