[Wattpad] 'Watch me make a cover 3.0'

Hey guys! I feel bad that I have gotten more strict when it comes to my requests, so I made this video for you guys and bellow I have a step by step description of how I edited the cover you see above.

THE STEPS:
1.) SELECTION TOOL: Use that to cut people out from their original backgrounds & use REFINE EDGES (located at the top) to soften the selection's nooks and crannies.

2.) POSITIONING & SCALING: One of the most important aspects of manip-ing is positioning and scaling. In order for an image to look as 'real' as possible you have to make sure faces, bodies and such are in good harmony. i.e it wouldn't make sense for the person standing behind someone to be bigger in size.. duh. :P

3.) COLOR HARMONIZATION: Using the adjustment tools i.e CURVES, HUE & SATURATION ETC.. balance out the colorings on the added pngs to the color of the background---that way all images have a better sense of unity.

4.) CUTS & BRUISES: MAY BE COMPLEX

a.) PAINT BRUSH: ON A NEW LAYER! 100 (strength), 15 brush size. Hover over the part of the skin you want the cut to be on and make a dark red line.

b.) SMUDGE TOOL: ON PERSON'S LAYER! 20 (strength) 2-3 brush size. Hover over where the red line is and drag the brush over it 5-6 times.

c.) GAUSSIAN BLUR: RETURN TO RED LINE LAYER! Blur the red line to your satisfaction & then change the opacity settings to 'OVERLAY'.

d.) BURN TOOL: BACK TO PERSON'S LAYER! (lol, sorry) Midtones (setting), 100 (strength), 2-3 brush size. Just like the smudge tool drag it over the same area to accentuate the scar.

e.) Step A also applies for bruising---simply change the color to a deep purple and mess around with the opacity. And darken bruised portion of skin using the burn tool.

(The thing about cuts & bruises that you should know is that you don't want them to be too saturated, otherwise they look super fake. Like at 8:00min in the video above, Niall's cut was too red.)

So there you have it! After, all that's left is the text and coloring---and any other last minute touch ups or add ons to your creation. I hope this video helped!
