The days of actual humans reading over-the-transom screenplay and pilot submissions to agencies, management and production companies may be over.

Hyperbolic? Sadly, maybe not. Many companies are already using AI tools to reduce reading costs and save time, trusting the AI's "opinion" (ha) as to whether or not the script should advance. In other words, in many companies, RIGHT NOW, your script's fate is in the hands of AI. Whether or not a human ever reads it at that company rests 100% in the hands of an incredibly flawed technology.

AI is helpful for many things, such as combing the internet and providing answers to questions that might otherwise take quite a bit of research, or for changing out the background on a photo. But when it comes to reading scripts? No, thank you.
