The 2020 A's won the American League West that featured impact players such as Liam Hendriks, Matt Olson, Chris Bassitt, Marcus Semien, Matt Chapman, and Sean Murphy. By the 2023 season all of these players were gone, whether through free agency or trades that brought back questionable returns. How did one of the top teams in baseball turn into a 50-112 club three years later? In this video, I explore the various transactions by the front office and, of course, touch on the issues with ownership and the franchise's looming relocation.
