In this video, you'll learn how to set up a Self-Directed IRA Trust with Madison Trust and Broad Financial.

The first step in creating an IRA Trust is to complete an online application with Madison Trust and open a Self-Directed IRA.

You can upgrade your Self-Directed IRA to gain checkbook control, which allows you to manage your everyday investment transactions in real time.
To go this route, you’ll also fill out an application with our sister company and IRA LLC facilitator, Broad Financial.

When your Self-Directed IRA is set up, it's time to fund the account.
You can roll over all or a portion of funds if you have an existing retirement account, such as a standard IRA or 401(k).

You can also make an initial contribution.
After your Self-Directed IRA is funded, the experienced team at Broad Financial will help you create an IRA Trust.

You’ll open a checking account in the name of your IRA Trust to take advantage of checkbook control.

You can pick any bank you’d like.

To fund your IRA Trust, you’ll submit an Investment Authorization Form to Madison Trust, and we'll send the funds to your chosen bank for deposit.
From there, you can start investing in various assets, such as real estate, private equity, and more by simply writing a check or sending a wire from your dedicated checking account.

As the owner of a Self-Directed IRA Trust, you’ll have control over your investment decisions and can choose what best fits your goals.
