Adobe launched Firefly, a family of generative AI models, designed from the ground up to be safe for commercial use. So about two years ago, we brought a generative product to market called Firefly. That’s our family of generative models. They’re all commercially safe, as you both have mentioned, which just means—if you just wanna geek out for one second [laughs]—at the very bottom of the infrastructure layer, the data layer, all the data that went into the training of our models, we licensed.

So we either paid a creator, we have a stock business that you may know of—stock photography and stock video—but everyone who contributed got compensated. And we used other material that was in Creative Commons, that might have had copyright expire. So everything from a nutrition label, if you wanna talk calories for a second—everything that went in was clean.

And therefore, we can stand by the fact that everything that comes out is commercially safe for use, and we indemnify large enterprises and marketing teams as needed.
