Hi! It's me, Shehzeen and my co-host, Fizza. For our very first outing of "The Friday Catchup", we wanted to start at the very beginning. What is that 'something's missing' feeling? Many of us play "perfect" roles all through our lives - perfect daughter, perfect mother, perfect career woman - but while it can feel like we've got most things figured out, for many of us, something can feel "off". To put a spotlight on that, to cut through the noise that surrounds us, and to understand why I even need my own unique identity; this is a question that has been life changing for the both of us.

We talk about identity loss, how sometimes we can feel like we "let go" of ourselves, societal expectations that we perform for, trailing spouses, homemakers, the influence of social media. AND SO MUCH MORE.
