In the early script, after Barry returned to his altered timeline, Supergirl became Earth’s main protector, discovering she was even stronger than Superman but without his years of restraint and kindness. Her attempts to save people caused huge accidental damage, showing what happens when a Kryptonian grows up with power but not humility. Destroying General Zod was meant to haunt her, pushing her to the edge of quitting heroism entirely. The final scenes would show her trying to control her overwhelming power, setting up future DC Universe stories where she’d face threats even Batman, Wonder Woman, or Aquaman couldn’t stop. WB scrapped all of this and ended her story in this movie itself because test audiences only cared about Michael Keaton’s Batman, so her entire arc was erased. 💥🦸‍♀️⚡
