Sunandaji Bhagavad Gita CH 2B Day 1

Описание к видео Sunandaji Bhagavad Gita CH 2B Day 1

The Bhagavad Gita ‘Song of the Lord’ is a conversation between Lord Krsna and the warrior prince Arjuna on the battlefield of the Kurukshetra. It provides a practical philosophy which expounds the technique for an active and peaceful life. Above all, it ushers one towards the goal of spiritual Enlightenment.

Confused and distraught, Arjuna surrenders to Lord Krsna for guidance. Krsna first expounds the yoga of knowledge, sankhya yoga covering the indestructible nature of the Self. And follows up with the path of action, karma yoga to eradicate the deep-set despondency in Arjuna.

The Lord further exposes the futility of mechanical rituals followed by irresolute minds. He describes the three gunas qualities of the mind – sattva, rajas and tamas. Explains the process of evolution from tamas to sattva. Exhorts Arjuna to free himself from the mania of acquiring and enjoying. Instead, merge with the inner Self to gain the peace and bliss of spiritual Enlightenment.

The last eighteen verses define the nature of a Sthitaprajna Enlightened Soul.
