MISERY RIDGE LOOP TRAIL SMITH ROCK STATE PARK OREGON

I am really excited to share this next hiking adventure with everybody! Smith Rock State Park is located right outside of Redmond Oregon in the central part of the state. The hike I chose to do is the most popular, and you will totally see why! The trail is called the Misery Ridge Loop Trail, and it is 3.7 miles round-trip and 915 ft of elevation gain. This trail is labeled as hard because of the steep incline at the beginning of the hike. Even though it is a tough hike, It is an extremely gorgeous one on top of that. This trail has non-stop views of the state park from above and along the Crooked River. The scenery on this hike is just simply magnificent and had me in awe the entire time! I definitely saved the best for last on my central Oregon hiking adventure!
