How to Replace Melted 30amp RV Plugs & Save Money (RV Living) 4K

Ferrules Kits Silver Plated Copper Crimp ConnectorIn 2 & 1/2 years traveling full time in our RV, we unfortunately have had a few problems at campgrounds at the power pedestal. Larry does test it before we plug in (see video links below) & we have a surge protector. But the 30 amp RV plug did get melted a couple of times.
It would be costly to replace the whole power chord - so just replace the melted camper plug instead.
In this video, I show step by step how to replace 30 amp RV plugs, both the Male and Female ends are shown. ‪@CamcoManufacturing‬ also sell a 50 amp version and it installs in a similar manner as described in this video.
