Drive to Zuma Beach, June Gloom Edition

Still working on new content and new roads, but here's some footage from back in June when I drove to one of my favorite beaches in Malibu. It was bright, warm, and sunny when I left my place, but the beach? Well, let's just say that an aggressive marine layer isn't all that uncommon on the Southern California coastline that time of year.

This route takes us from the intersection of Mulholland Highway and Malibu Canyon/Las Virgenes in Calabasas down to Pacific Coast Highway. The trip home takes PCH north to Encinal Canyon, and then to Decker Canyon. I enjoy seeing the weather change along the drive, the June Gloom near the coast and the perfect sunny summer day farther inland.
