Every lodging establishment must ensure a positive guest experience. A bad experience can lead to bad reviews, decreasing reservations and revenue. One of the most common complaints in hotel rooms is foul odors. While there are many types of bad odors, the most common complaint in hotels and motels are musty, mildew, and smoky smells. Luckily, these smells can be quickly and easily addressed with the right tools and products.

Musty or mildew odors are most commonly caused by moisture accumulation in the bathroom, on the walls, or on the carpet from spills, leaks, and humidity.
