Capacity Building Webinar 1 on EDI & Paying the Artist, 13th June 2024

Creative Europe Desk Ireland - Culture Office presents a series of capacity building webinars for organisations considering applying for Cooperation Projects funding under the Creative Europe Programme. The next call is due to open in autumn 2024.

These events will focus on building capacity for organisations in the cross-cutting areas that are prioritised by Creative Europe in the 2021 - 2027 programme. These are: Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI); Sustainability & Greening Creative Europe; and Building Communication & Dissemination strategies for arts and culture projects.

Webinar 1: Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, Thursday 13th June
The Head of EDI at the Arts Council of Ireland, Hannah Gordis talks about how organisations can start their journey in inclusive programming using the EDI toolkit developed by the Arts Council as part of their policy. Keith Thompson from the Arts Council explains their Paying the Artist policy looking at fair pay and best practice for engagement with artists in artistic projects.
