Mont Ventoux from Malaucène (France) - Indoor Cycling Training

Описание к видео Mont Ventoux from Malaucène (France) - Indoor Cycling Training

Mont Ventoux is one of the most legendary climbs in the world. People from all over the world come to tackle the 'Giant of Provence'. And for good reason. It has it all. Extremely beautiful scenery, lots of cycling history, a challenging route, and many appearances in the Tour de France. This ride features a quieter alternative to the more popular approach from Bédoin. Many prefer this alternative as there are fewer cars, and the road is wider and nicer. Some even find the views to be better. Having irregular ever changing gradients makes this approach just as difficult as the ride from Bedoin. The starting point of the ride, Malaucène, is a charming town. From here you ride through a beautiful forest with occasional views of Mont Ventoux. As you pass the ski resort of Mont Serein, the road becomes narrower, and the forest thins out. Soon you realize why Mont Ventoux is called the bald mountain. The views on the last part towards the top are simply fantastic. This ride is a must for any cycling enthusiast.

Just add music:
Most cyclists would agree that the ride to Col du Tourmalet is outstanding. But with music, opinions are very mixed. So we have added no music. Instead, we recommend adding your favorite music to the ride. It is quite simple. Mute YouTube and open a browser window. Find a site that offers music (Spotify, YouTube, etc…) and pick the music you like, and enjoy the ride... We have left the original sound of the ride out. This is because the noise from passing cars, vibrations from the road, wind, and the rider's breathing drowns the natural sound of the surroundings.
