The Shanni Nationalities Army (SNA) has initiated a training program for local Shan-Ni youths at a time when civil conflicts are intensifying across the region.

For decades, the Shan-Ni people have endured countless struggles and hardships. Through this painful journey, they have come to understand that the existence of an armed force is no longer a choice, but a necessity for survival. Without protection, political tensions have robbed our people of their livelihoods, their security, and their peace of mind.

Year after year, the Shan-Ni community has lived under fear and uncertainty, even though all they ever wished for was a peaceful life. Today, however, the youth are rising—determined to defend their people, to safeguard their culture, and to ensure that future generations can live with dignity and freedom.

This moment marks not only a defense of survival but also a call for unity, strength, and hope. Together, we can overcome the storms of conflict and stand firm for the future of Shan-Ni.
