Zenit EM: the camera that introduced millions to SLRs in the 1970s

If you bought your first 35mm SLR in the 1970s there's a strong chance it was a Zenit E or EM. Built in the old Soviet Union, they were crude but cheap and sold by the bucket-load, especially in the UK. AP Editor Nigel Atherton, whose own first camera was a Zenit EM, presents a guide to the camera, which is still plentiful on the second-hand market.
