I Went Saltwater Fishing After a Hurricane & Had Surprising Results! | Solo Kayaking & Adventuring

Today, I took my kayak out into the marsh once again for some saltwater fishing. We actually had a hurricane pass through the area the day before my trip, and I wanted to see the fishing would be impacted. Interestingly, the fishing was actually better in my opinion, and I caught a decent amount of redfish, bass, and one speckled trout.

As usual, Louisiana's marsh was absolutely beautiful, even after a storm, and it was great to get out and explore nature from the kayak. We spotted an alligator, got a little too close for comfort, and as usual the marsh was alive with the sounds of birds and grasshoppers.

This trip was an epic solo kayaking adventure that I won't forget anytime soon. Thanks for watching me as I share my experiences fishing, exploring, and connecting with nature on the water. I hope to camp in the marsh overnight soon and do a catch and cook!
