They are probably one of the interesting creatures in the folklore of westeros with many legends surrounding this creature that many theorize being related to the deep ones and the people who resides into the island of toads and the thousand islands, even if they are also famous for their connection with Ser Clarence Crabb a legendary hero from crackclaw point even if his main residence was Castle Whisper a now ruined castle who was named like that because of the severed heads of the enemies of Ser Clarence that he bought back to his wife a famous necromancer who revived those heads in order to make them work as their loyal advisors, but the stories surrounding Ser Clarence Crabb do not stop there since according to some legends he was also able to slay the mysterious Squisher king a monarch of a race of half human half fish hybrids who terrorized that part of westeros until Ser Clarence saved the situation.
