VW Golf Roof Lining Replacement

The roof lining of my VW Golf was sagging and peeling. Apparently VW is known for this problem.

This video goes through the whole process of the roof lining replacement. It costs me $350.00 to have the replacement done by Repair Bull. Looking at what the job entails, I would not even try to replace the lining myself. It is well advised to leave it to the professional to do a good well presented job. Try to save and one may end up spending more fixing problems later.

The whole experience was good except for the surcharge of $7.00 for payment by credit card. The surcharge was not disclosed when I asked to pay by credit card when booking the job. Repair Bull should tell customers upfront about the surcharge for paying by credit card. It could have been a nicer experience.

The roof lining replacement by Repair Bull comes with 5 year warranty. Whether the warranty will be honoured when push comes to shove is another matter. I hope that Repair Bull will.
