When it comes to Sweet and influences I think the drummer Mick Tucker has influenced many drummers. At least the ones I’ve played with. And I think he had a mean pocket and really tasteful fills. As a bass player it’s really fun to play to a drummer like that. The original Sweet bass player Steve Priest was a pick player and I’m not so I think I play a little different than me. I use more ghost notes and mutes in a different way.
