Connecting Your Getaround Account to CarSync

CarSync supports an innovative process for connecting Getaround which is 100% secure and doesn't require typing in your Google, Apple, or Facebook password. Stay with us as we will walk you through the steps.

Before we start, please note that these steps can be performed only on a desktop or laptop - not on your phone.

In the CarSync app, head to Settings|Platforms&Emails. Under Sharing platforms, click on Connect and select Getaround. Once you do, a set of instructions will appear. In order to successfully connect your Getaround account, please make certain to follow the aforementioned instructions accordingly.

1️⃣ First, open getaround.com in your desktop browser and make sure you're logged in to your account.
2️⃣ Right-click on the Getaround webpage and select "Inspect" from the menu.
3️⃣ Click on the "Console" tab.
4️⃣ Copy this code from the CarSync app and paste it into the Console input.
5️⃣ Press return and wait for it to finish. It should print "Success". Then simply click on "Done" in your CarSync app.

Your Getaround account has just been successfully connected and CarSync has started importing your data.
