NES Controller To Jumpers

In this video I show how a Nintendo Entertainment System Controller (NES) can be connected to an extension cable and then broken out into jumpers. In real time you can see how not all of the wires are required to make the controller function. But once the Red, Orange and Yellow wires were disconnected, I could no longer play the game Legendary Wings.

Please note, the voltage for the NES controller is very low that's why I was disconnecting and reconnecting in real-time for demonstration. But in general this would be a bad practice and you definitely would want to power any electrical system down fully before doing connection / disconnection of anything.
