Today I have visited a new place which is a really nice and mesmerizing place I have ever visited and its name is Karnala Fort and Karnala Bird Sanctuary but I only visited at Karnala Fort.

So How to Reach Karnala Fort From Panvel?
Typically I have visited this place from Panvel bus depo so I will guide you from this location from Panvel bus depo you can catch or you can auto fro kharpada so they will drop you at a single they charged me 20Rs from that location to signal lit bit high but it's ok from that location you will get eco car-like sharing and they charge you for karnala fort only 30Rs and you will reach that destination within 25 minutes and you can start your journey.

How Much is The Entry Cost for Karnala Fort?
I was Alone and they charge me 65 Rs as an Adult person and if you're going with family-like children they may charge you for children less than 65Rs Sorry I couldn't check the fees because I was already late because I was on the night shift and in the day time it was week off but I didn't take rest instead I came here so due to time limitation I couldn't check the fees for karnala fort entry fees.

A Short Info For Karnala Fort.
Karnala Fort (also called Funnel Hill[1]) is a hill fort in Raigad district, Maharashtra, India, about 10 km from Panvel city. Currently, it is a protected place lying within the Karnala Bird Sanctuary. It was a place of strategic importance since it overlooked the Bor pass, which connected the Konkan coast to the interior of Maharashtra (Deccan Plateau)[1] on the main trade route between these areas.
The fort was likely constructed before 1400, under Devagiri Yadavs(1248–1318) and the Tughlaq rulers (1318–1347), Karnala was the capital of the north Konkan districts of their respective empires.[2] It later fell under the command of the Gujarat Sultanate but in 1540 was taken over by Nizam Shah of Ahmednagar. The Gujarat sultans then requested the help of the Dom Francisco de Menezes the commanding officer of the Portuguese at Bassien (modern-day Vasai) to win it back. He ordered 500 of his soldiers to the Karnala fort and they were able to capture it. The fort was left in charge of the Gujarat Sultanate but with Portuguese garrisons.
