The built-in SwiftUI PhotosPicker is designed primarily for simplicity and quick image selection, which is why it does not include built-in editing capabilities like cropping or adjusting the selected photo. Apple intentionally keeps PhotosPicker lightweight to fit seamlessly into SwiftUI’s declarative style without overwhelming developers with too many options.
