Daikin AC Coanda Mode - What is Coanda Mode in Daikin AC

The Coanda effect, is named after Romanian aerodynamics pioneer Henri Coandă. It refers to the tendency of a fluid jet to adhere to a nearby surface and flow along it. When a fluid (such as air or water) is discharged from a nozzle, it tends to follow the curvature of a nearby surface rather than disperse in a straight line.

In air conditioning ( and all HVAC) systems, the Coanda effect is used to direct airflow more efficiently so that cooling spreads evenly in the area covered by the AC.

This video is about how coanda mode works in Daikin Air Conditioners and what are its benefits. Where Coanda mode should be used for best effects.
