Early version of Streetwalker featuring a western-style intro. It has the same structure as the final version, although it’s missing some instruments and vocals and has a different bass.

Michael Jackson sings about a fictional infatuation he has with a prostitute, about how she loves him and leaves him because it’s part of her job, but he fails to understand how she’s able to make love without attachment.

He wants to whisk her away from the streets and make her his own:

"I’d like to take you places
How about New York City
Or Paris, France
What do you think of that?"

However, he fails to do so, as we can see from the outro to the song where he’s still pleading for her love and attention.

That track was performed at Brad Sundberg's seminars, at the time there was an LQ recording of it, but in March 2025 a HQ version of the song leaked online.

This version was recorded in 1987 and “Streetwalker” was cut from the final track listing on Bad and replaced with “Another Part Of Me”.
