My setting of the sadly neglected English composer and organist William Walond’s beautifully crafted ‘Cornet’ Voluntary in G Major (Op. 1, No. 5). Some modern editions have altered the character of this piece by filling out the manual parts and adding a pedal part, so I have not strayed from Walond’s original to ensure an authentic performance as the composer intended it to be heard.

The audio was created using Hauptwerk Virtual Pipe Organ with the St. Michel en Thiérache organ by Sonus Paradisi.
