Nick Selleck gives a real world review of the Alpinestars Tech-Air airbag vest after it deployed during a crash in Tasmania on the first day of the KTM Adventure Rallye 2019. The crash occurred at about 90kph on a wet bitumen road in cold temperatures. Nick and the KTM slid for about 30 metres with the Alpinestars airbag in his jacket deploying just as it was intended providing a crucial soft cocoon. This technology is a fantastic advancement for riders and could potentially be a life saver.
