Never use high gloss varnish to finish your art!

When you've created a masterpiece, I recommend always finishing your pour with a good quality varnish. Choosing which varnish finish to use is the trick part. Gloss for a great shine, matte to keep as true to the dried look as possible, satin for a mixture of both, or high gloss to make it look fake?

Knowing where the painting will be displayed and how the light will interact with that painting is one of the key pieces of information you need before making this decision.
