With my full-time return to the Lionheart Retro Series, I was going to have a tall order on my hands. The Lotus 79 had undergone a tire model change in iRacing for the road courses in 2020 that made it more realistic towards the bias-ply oversteery nature of the car. While I had experienced this change sporadically since then, I had not participated in a Retro Series road course event with that car for almost a year and a half. Moreover, I would be racing at Watkins Glen - a track that I had NEVER been able to compete a Lionheart event in without ending up with a poor finish due to being punted. On top of that, I set the lofty goal of trying to get a top 10 in every Lionheart road course event this season. Would I be able to overcome these obstacles in order to achieve this goal?
