This was a fun find and a great addition to my classic stereo equipment. I apologize if I got any of the details wrong, but I tried to relay the info as best I could from memory.
This is an early consumer 4-track stereo tape machine. Packed and preserved for over 50 years in its original box with all the original accessories and packing materials.
This is the first time to my knowledge that it has been fired up since the 1960s.
I was a little nervous plugging it in, but the test run went surprisingly well!
It is a vacuum tube powered player.
