The distance from New Jalpaiguri Junction (NJP) to Icchegaon is approximately 86 km and it takes roughly 3 hours to cover this journey distance via National Highway 10. This journey distance will surely feel short as you will be accompanied by daunting hills, mountains and alpine forest on both side of the roads.

#How to #Travel from NJP to Icchegaon

By Road: IccheGaon is nicely connected by road with all its nearby towns and villages. However, a shared car or bus is not available from New Jalpaiguri Junction. Hence, to travel by road from NJP to IccheGaon, one can get a hired taxi from any cab hiring agency.

By Rail: Even though the railway infrastructure of India is one of the biggest in the world, there is no railway route from NJP to Icchegaon. Due to the lack of railway infrastructure, one has to hire a cab again as per his requirements and budget.

By Air: Bagdogra is the most adjacent airport which is at a distance of 92 km from the village. Even though the airport is nicely connected with other major cities in the state, one can't travel to the village from NJP by air due to the lack of any airport near the settlement.
