You have always been a pawn by huge monster cars, and it finally became a real terror inside your dreams. Survive your nightmares again here in Car Eats Car 2 Deluxe. The goal here is to drive your red car and reach the gas station as safely as you can. But you need to hurry up because you will be chased down by monster cars and try to eat you up. Slow them down by dropping bombs or get away quickly by getting speed boosts. Performing flips will help you gain speed boosts too. Collect diamonds and gears and use them to buy upgrades in the shop.

Overview:

Car Eats Car 2 Deluxe is primarily the same as the second game minus the Deluxe. This version though has some added features as well as the Arena levels. You could say that Deluxe is an expansion of Car Eats Car 2. The gameplay is still as riveting as ever as you control your little red car against the raging giants of the road. Knock out all those enemy cars on the road and head for the Arena and gain even more popularity and win.

Aesthetics:

Car Eats Car 2 Deluxe as we stated is the same as the second game. This means that the aesthetic departments are pretty much the same. The game uses a cartoon style animation which is hand drawn. It also utilizes some computer generated imagery but they both blend together in a good combination. The game’s animation or fluent and smooth as well as the overall visuals are bright and vibrant. The music department is also good. It is the same from the second game but it works. It doesn’t suit that dystopian environment but it sounds good and that’s what matters.

Gameplay:

The game is a 2D driving game if you can consider it that. It’s not entirely a race and it can fall under the banner of being a side scroller as it is a 2D game. The objective is to make your car go to the end zone of each level. That is of course considering that it has to survive the different enemies and obstacles along the way that will deplete its life bar. When driving your car you can choose to use the booster pack that it has provided there’s fuel in it. You can boost your car up to the point that it can fly on the air. In terms of dealing with the enemies players can use their bombs. Bombs can damage the enemies but some of them can take more than one hit so you can always outrun them when you run out of bombs. There are also special moves that you can use in the level. These special moves are strong and can usually destroy the enemies with one hit. There are also bosses in some levels that you need to take care of with some difficulty and challenge. There are also rubies and gold cogs that the players can take on the levels. These act as currencies that can be used for upgrading your car. The rubies are used for upgrading your car’s basic performance. These would include improving the car’s speed, booster gauge, wheel size and life bar. The gold cogs are used for buying special equipment for your car. These equipment items can range from a magnet to specific bombs and guns that the car can use. The inclusion of the Arena levels is what makes the game different. The Arena levels are basically infested with a variety of enemies that they can fight and defeat to complete each level in the game.
