After much anticipation, the 2018 Honda Accord finally has a release date. Honda is hosting the worldwide debut via Livestream on YouTube on July 14th, 2017. The Livestream will be set in Detroit and viewers can expect to receive information about the available powertrain options as well as see the new design for the first time. It is still currently unknown when the 2018 Honda Accord will actually make its way on to dealership lots.

The range topping engine is coming to replace the outgoing V-6, and it will be created role-modeled on Civic Type R’s engine, and we all know just what is that unit is capable of producing. Of course, it will be accommodated to suit the needs of a family sedan. As for the power output, we don’t know anything because Honda didn’t fill us in. One thing is for sure it will have more than the V-6 unit but less than the one in Type R. Rumored figure is 295hp.

The 2018 Honda Accord will go on sale this fall, several months after the redesigned 2018 Toyota Camry and updated 2018 Hyundai Sonata.
Official pricing has not yet been announced. However, given the addition of Honda Sensing, we expect a small bump in price from the current range of $24,130 (with destination) for the Accord LX to $35,805 for the range-topping Touring.
