This Memorial Day, the Mayor was deeply moved to stand alongside residents, veterans, and community leaders at the Veterans War Memorial on Sadowski Parkway. Together, they paused to remember the men and women who gave their lives in military service — individuals whose absence is felt not only by their families, but by the entire city.

To the Gold Star Families in Perth Amboy: the Mayor emphasized that their loved ones are not forgotten. Their legacy lives on in the values upheld, the freedoms cherished, and the way neighbors care for one another.
Throughout the city, Hometown Heroes banners were displayed on light poles — each one representing a veteran or active-duty service member from Perth Amboy. These banners served as a quiet but powerful reminder of the service and sacrifice that exist right here in the community.

Este Día de los Caídos, el Alcalde se sintió profundamente conmovido al estar junto a los residentes, veteranos y líderes comunitarios en el Monumento a los Veteranos de la Guerra en Sadowski Parkway.
