A Look At Birmingham Stove & Range Cast Iron Cookware: Part 1 - Red Mountain

This is the first part of a video look at cast iron pans made by Birmingham Stove & Range. Pans from this company are probably my favorite pieces of antique cookware, and I gladly go out of my way to find and acquire pans from BS&R and their parent company, Atlanta Stove Works. This video looks at pans from BS&R made during the first half of the 20th century, which they marketed as their "Red Mountain" series of cast iron pans. They produced a huge number of these pans, so many that pans from this series are not too difficult to find today. This video may be useful as a guide to identifying some of the many cast iron pans made during their Red Mountain era, and it may even help to identify something you have in your kitchen right now.
