One of the models I was very excited about trying out in the 2.9 software update was the Rochester Comp which is a model of the Ashly CLX-52 compressor. As far as I understand this model was brought to us in partnership with Billy Sheehan who famously uses this compressor. In this video I take a look at the various controls and how this compressor compares with my previous favorite LA Studio Comp. Could this be the end of the road for my beloved LA Studio Comp??
