yes this still works after the nerfs, yes this tanky warlock is even more relevant now, yes the pure dps builds on your favorite website still works but this one was made to survive

the debuffs apply automaticly so you dont have to play " in a different way " then the usual warlock builds around until you hit realy high corruptions, if you are at 2k corruption the skill rotation works as followed

first cast order
eat a bonewall - cast spirit plague for 1.4 seconds - cast chtonic fissure - sit in profane veil until chtonic dissapears or longer if needed

if you are out of profane veil then the rotation starts:

cast spirit plague for 1.4 seconds - cast chtonic fissure - walk/dodge/dash for a second - sit in profane veil until chtonic dissapears or longer if needed - repeat

you can transplant away while spamming spirit plague since its the only time you "could die "

so how that did work and how to replicate some of the mechanics and defenses

1: Chains of Ruin passives 5 Points
2: 2 Idols Fear on Hit, Chill on Necrotic Hit/Gain 140 Ward per Second in Profane Veil
3: 1 Idol Increased Duration for Profane Veil, Transplant Cooldown
4: 1 Idol Spell Curse Dmg, Transplant Cooldown
5: Reduced Damage taken from Critical Strikes on Body, Boots, Gloves

Witchfire 10 Passive Points wont help with single target in any way so its just used to clear mobpacks if you want that

the idols will cost you like a mil and the rest is basicly just the meta warlock setup and the build below from fubgun will show you the best in slot armor on his maxroll planner

the base of the build is fubguns iteration of the warlock
