Green Bay Packers Super Bowl XLV champions Desmond Bishop and Andrew Quarless sat down with FOX 11 Sports Director Ryan Wing to talk about the Packers' Week 1 win over the Detroit Lions and take a walk down memory lane about their own careers.

The latest edition of FOX 11 One on One turned into a two-on-one.

The Super Bowl XLV championship team was honored at the game. Both players said they enjoyed getting to see some of their former teammates and coaches.

"I haven't seen some of those guys in over a decade," Quarless said. "I actually got to see my tight end group. Got to see my boy J-Mike -- Finley -- and Tom Crabtree."

"Crabtree's son and my son were together, so to see the next generation together, that was nice as well."

Bishop talked about having a conversation with former head coach Mike McCarthy -- his first conversation with him not as player-coach.

We then asked about the Packers-Lions game.

Bishop said he was impressed by the way the Packers stuck with the running game after some early setbacks.

"We had multiple different ways to attack, and we never got away from the run," he said.

Going into the game, much of the focus was on newly acquired pass rusher Micah Parsons.

Quarless said Parsons' sack of Jared Goff was impressive.

"Just to see that sack he did, just to see how fast -- it just looked like lightning shooting through. It was kind of amazing to see how fast he got through that line," he said.

Fifteen years after the Packers' last Super Bowl win, members of that title team said the 2025 squad has the potential to become the next champions.

"You like to see a team come out and play that good week one," Quarless said.
