TW Dream Edition - Wall Wall Melancholy: Encouragment From My Best Friend (No Savestates)

Can't believe I actually got this star.


First of all, looking at the choke counter it's not so bad when it comes to very far chokes. As it's really only the 33 which died to an easy jump. Jealousy jump I had zero issues with basically, hitted it a lot in practice especially near end, and honestly if you know what to do you won't hit a random invis or collision, if I did die to collision I would have fully blamed myself.

Speaking off, I really don't think collision and invis was as bad as people make it out to be, always believed that from watching stage and having done some stars in past and still do. Ofc there are def invis and collision problems, the worst imo being S1 arch and S2 beginning crossovers after pillars (pillars also weird but this strat works perfect one them) but overall if you know where they are you won't really hit anything tbh.

Cause of not being so bothered by invis or collision this was very very fun to grind (minus firsty which I mention later) I really enjoyed heavo slope as well, I got it down very well as I can be very well in control on it so it's very doable to adapt to which ever his position is, and even just improvise on the spot without much trouble.

Now let's talk about how well I did, it's kinda split so, as you can see I got a lot 21s, and that's cause out of 12 attempts I choked 9 times to firsty meaning I had a succes rate of 25% which is so low. It definitely drove me insans at some points.

However I got insane consistency in return, for the record S1 path if we don't count the qslg transition into it, I haven't died to like 10-14 times somewhere between that in a ROW and I mostly do it last, that's absolutely absurd. S2 also got very consistent near the end, first attempt of this stream got to 21, past streams I also got past S2 whenever I got to S2. I have never played as wellas I have on this grind.

In total I spend like 25 - 30 hours on this star, which even if I like didn't have all those firsty chokes would have been insane, but yeah really really proud. I feel a bit bad about talking about time cause it just kinda feels and is a flex, but just very proud of myself, especially since this a new 3rd hardest for sure.

Also that chukya at end I didn't know he could be inna diff spot from practice (stupid af obviously) but yeah so in attempt I didn't even think about chuckya at all but started panicking after doing the last wk legdgrab as you see with pause lol. Apparently he can be in a bad spot and yeah ggs would have died at 36 in the most sad and dumb way lmfao.

Now lastly I want to talk about what this star means to me, so I met Morningstorm when he was on 120s, or rather like started dming to him. And he was talking about going for reds at the time. It really blew me away how such a star was possible back then and I still respect him a lot for having pulled through with it. It feels surreal that I have been able to do it myself now, and the star name also is perfect cause, I consider Morning my best friend in the community and I met him through this star, really nice touch :)
