Will Huawei's new phone KILL the Apple iPhone?!

Huawei unleashed its new phone yesterday, the world’s first tri-fold phone, just hours after Apple released its new offering, the iPhone 16.

The phone has grabbed the Western media’s attention, especially since all the new iPhone could muster up in terms of innovation was another new button.

I went to Huawei’s flagship store in Shanghai to check it out today, and a lot of Chinese are excited too.

But does the world really need a smartphone that folds up into three parts? And in today’s economy, can people afford the steep price tag, starting at a reported US$2,800?
