South Yuba Winter Whitewater Kayaking | Edwards to Purdon @1350 CFS

A truly epic day, we started in a blizzard snow storm which quickly converted to hail. Then it warmed up and rained for the rest of the day. The moss came alive and all the side creeks were trickling in adding an awesome vide to the run. The sense of adventure we got when launching in a snow storm was pretty intense. This video was filmed on 12/26/2021 on the South Yuba River in Nevada County, CA. This stretch of river holds many incredible hard white water runs. The harder runs are known for having an endless number of sieves.
