DON’T MISS THE FINISHING TOUCHES IN "A THOUSAND HANDS" (PART 5)

Many visitors to Amitabha Buddhist Centre this Chinese New Year​​ / Losar have already seen our immensely inspiring Thousand-Arm Chenresig statue.

The centrepiece of our main altar is a remarkable accomplishment that stands very close to completion. A succession of projects and activity had been underway from mid-January to prepare the statue for its first display to the public at Chinese New Year.

While work still continues to complete several sections, such as the lotus base and moon disc, the lower scarves, and the crowns, the statue has been finished to a level that has drawn great admiration and delight.
