HOW TO FIND NORTHE WITH THE HELP OF THE MOON.
– Southern Hemisphere & Northern Hemisphere

1. Determine your HEMISPHERES.
Find the location of your Hemisphere or Country Location.

A. NORTHERN HEMISPHERE
B. SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE

FIND NORTH WITH THE HELP OF THE MOON.
1. Face the FULL MOON.

Note :
a. The Sun is right behind the girl scout.
b. Follow the Sun Method finding the North direction as per each Hemispheres

 2. Face the new moon.

Note :
When the moon is new and you see it as only a thin sickle, the sun is in front of you, under the horizon.

 EXAMPLE : NORTHERN HEMISPHERE
Once you know where the Sun is, use your watch to find North.
If you are in the Northern Hemisphere (North of the Equator), point the hour hand of the watch in the direction of the Sun.
The point across from this (between the 1 and 2 o'clockmarkings) is South and the opposite (between the 7 and 8 o'clock markings) is North.
Use 1 o'clock instead of 12 during Daylight Savings.

EXAMPLE : SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE
If you are in the Southern Hemisphere, point the 12 O’clock toward the Sun.
Find the halfway mark between the hour hand and 12 o’clock.
The point across from this (between the 7 and 8 o'clock markings) is South and (between 1 & 2 o’clock markings) is North.
Use 1 o'clock instead of 12 during Daylight Savings.

Interesting Fact 3 : Hindus Shivalingas Directions

The devotee always face the east direction that is towards the west face of the shiva lingam and the yoni base of the Shivling facing the north direction.

The other auspicious direction is when the yoni base of the Shivling faces the east direction and the devotee do the rituals facing the north direction that is towards the south face of the Shivling.

The Qiblah of the people of the WESTERN COUNTRIES is toward EAST;

The Qiblah of the people of the SOUTHERN COUNTRIES is toward NORTH;

 And the Qiblah of the people of the NORTHERN COUNTRIES is toward SOUTH.

The Qiblah of the people of the EASTERN COUNTRIES is toward WEST.
