‘Tagore's Shantiniketan’, the Abode of Peace, is the brain child of Rabindranath Tagore, who wanted to build an institution that is close to nature. He felt this need because of his growing observation about the Indian Education System going to the western style where the pupils are taught within the confines of a classroom. He also felt the need of imparting all round development of the student by including Fine Arts, Music, and Literature as the main stream courses. Many stalwarts of those days relevant to the topics were brought in to teach and mentor the students. The video also focuses on the incredibly beautiful sculptures by Ramkinkar Baij installed within the Shantiniketan Campus.
